The research and development part of a business plan
Crunch time
We almost at the stage where we need to present our business plans, but I somehow found myself lagging behind with regards to the actual business plan writing. However time was not wasted, for the last few weeks, I have been working on the concept development which is the most important.
I was a bit concerned on the lack of research supporting my idea. It felt like a few hours ago it was merely based on speculation. And I am sure investors don’t look favorably on my take on the social-economic development status in South Africa. Although possibly correct, there is only so much poppycock I can spin. Thus further research was needed…
I have come to realize that I don’t really have to do extensive research. Why? Because it is already done. All I had to do is to put in a few hours of solid work and facilitate the information together. It as easy as cut and paste…except that I am handwriting it out. Yes, I am writing out my entire business plan because I am blocked when thinking BP in front of a computer.
